There are very few doctors who have such high qualifications in Paediatrics & Neonatology as Dr. Syed Mohammed Anees has. He earned his MBBS and his MD from the J.J. Medical College, Mumbai, India, and has also earned his MRCPCH, from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, London. UK. As a specialist paediatrician, he has worked hard at the Dubai Hospital U.A.E for a number of years. Over here, he also co-authored Immunisation Guidelines for the Dubai Health Authority. Participating in a host of activities, he has been sincerely teaching undergraduate students from the Dubai Medical College, teaching residents taking the Royal College exams in the UK. He has worked as a Specialist Paediatrician and Neonatologist, at the Dibba Fujairah Hospital, Fujairah, the U.A.E. He was also a Resident Paediatrician and Neonatologist, at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Bengaluru, India and Resident Paediatrician and Neonatologist, at the CG Hospital & Bapuji Child Health Institute & Research Centre, India.In addition to being a member of the Emirates Paediatric Society, he is closely associated with the Indian Academy of Paediatrics and the Bengaluru Paediatrics Society. An expert in the management of all general paediatric diseases, he is quite well known for the care and follow-up of newborns and preterm babies after hospital discharge, immunisations and Health Support programmes. He is regularly consulted for advice and guidance on infant and child nutrition, assessment and monitoring of growth and development and annual paediatric health check-ups. He is also regularly consulted for travel medicine and on education and awareness programmes.
