Dr. Suresh Kannan Prabakaran

With over 16 years of dental experience, Dr. Suresh Kannan is a leading oral and maxillofacial specialist who brings a wealth of expertise to the Rex family of specialists.He completed his Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery and went on to do his Masters in oral and maxillofacial Surgery in 2004 after which he pursued MOMS from Royal college of Surgeons ,Edinburgh,UK. He also holds a Diploma in Neuromuscular Orthodontics and Gnathology (ICNOG) from Italy.He is also a Fellow of the international international Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery . Dr Suresh has published 14 research articles in National and International scientific journals and has been a speaker in several international conferences.His area of expertise ranges from surgical extractions of impacted teeth to 3D guided implant surgery. From bone grafting and orthognathic surgery to treatment of maxillofacial fractures, cysts, tumors, infections and TMJ disorders.His passion and confidence in surgical skills gives him an extra edge in patient management. He pays special attention to chair and bedside techniques that help to allay fear and instill confidence in patients.He speaks English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Arabic. He is keenly interested in travelling and enjoys exploring new places.
