Dr. Shubha Saldanha

Dr. Shubha Saldanha is a Specialist Ophthalmologist at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBS from JJM Medical College Hospital and her Diploma in Ophthalmology (DOMS) from the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), both affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Additionally, she is a Diplomate of the National Board for the practice of Ophthalmology (DNB-OPH) from the Eye Foundation, affiliated to the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, India. She has completed Part I of the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), Glasgow, UK.Dr. Saldanha has rich experience of nearly two decades in her chosen field, having worked in India, Kuwait and the UAE. She commenced her career as an Ophthalmologist in India, first with the Eye Foundation in Coimbatore and then with MRC Eye Hospital, Mysore. Later, she joined the Al Zuhair Medical Centre in Kuwait as a Registrar Ophthalmologist and worked in a similar capacity at Dar Al Shifa Hospital, also in Kuwait. Subsequently, she joined Axon Medica Polyclinic at the Dubai Silicon Oasis, UAE, as a Specialist Ophthalmologist.
