Dr. Shetty Mithun

Dr Mithun Shetty is a highly trained Specialist Orthodontist and Dentofacial Orthopaedician.Bringing with him more than 15 years of experience in the field of Orthodontics, Dr Mithun Shetty completed his Masters in Orthodontics and pursued his M(Orth)Edin from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, United Kingdom and eventually going on to complete his MOrth RCPS(Glasg) from the Royal College of Pysicians and Surgeons in Glasgow, United Kingdom.Advancing further in his career, Dr Mithun Shetty was awarded a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, United Kingdom as well as from the Indian Orthodontic Society. He is also an active member of many international orthodontic and dental groups like the International Assosiation of Orthodontics U.S.A and the Malaysian Dental Association.Dr Shetty’s area of expertise ranges from preventive orthodontics to functional Jaw Orthopaedics using a wide range of cutting - edge orthodontic techniques and appliances. Some of his cases have involved the combination of orthodontic surgery along with orthodontic treatments to correct dentofacial anomalies.Having also been trained and certified in Lingual Orthodontics, Mini Implants and Invisalign Technology, Dr Mithun Shetty has helped provide the latest mechanotherapies to many of his patients.Dr Mithun Shetty is a second-generation dentist. Growing up, he was fascinated with his father’s clinical practice and realised Dentistry was his calling at a very young age. In his spare time, he enjoys a variety of activities with his children. He looks forwards to playing tennis with his friends and follows a good game of cricket, among other sports.
