Dr. Seejo George

Dr.Seejo George is a Specialist in the Department of Otolaryngology at Medcare Hospital- Sharjah. He completed his MBBS from the JSS Medical College, Mysore, an MS (ENT) from the Calicut Medical College, Kerala and a Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology, all from India.He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and holds a Fellowship in Aesthetic Rhinoplasty from the Academic Medical Center of the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), the Association of Otolaryngologists of India(AOI), the Emirates Medical Association and the Indian Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ISFPRS).He is skilled in the treatment of almost all ENT problems, with outstanding surgical skills and combines the latest surgical techniques with a personal approach. During the early days of his career, Dr. George worked at the Govt Medical College Calicut and then at KIMS Hospital in Kochi, India. Subsequently, he moved to Amsterdam where he worked with the Academic Medical Center of the University of Amsterdam, where he acquired a Fellowship in Aesthetic Rhinoplasty. He then relocated to the UAE as a Specialist ENT, first at Medeor Hospital, then at Dubai London Hospital and the International Modern Hospital before joining Medcare.Dr. George’s expertise covers rhinoplasty (aesthetic & functional), general otolaryngology, tonsillectomies and adenoid surgeries (coblation, starion thermal welding technique, bloodless tonsillectomy), correction of the deviated nasal septum and reduction of nasal turbinates, diagnosis and treatment of sinusitis, Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), Balloon Sinuplasty, Endoscopic Dacryocystorhinostomy (Endo DCR) - surgery for blocked lacrimal sac or nasolacrimal duct and ear surgeries including Tympanoplasty, surgery of ear canal, surgery of mastoid bone, myringotomy and grommets insertion. He proficiently manages allergic rhinitis, snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA), tinnitus, vertigo, hearing disorders, headaches and related facial pain, and head and neck diseases such as thyroid and salivary gland diseases. He also performs non-invasive facial cosmetic procedures and practices aesthetic medicine like botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.Dr. George participates in medical conferences, sharing his expertise and knowledge, and his research findings are regularly published in scientific journals and book chapters. He speaks Arabic, English, Hindi and Malayalam.
