Dr. Saima Mahin

Ms. Saima Mahin is a Physiotherapist attached to the Al Furjan and Discovery Gardens branches of Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy (BPT) from the Deccan College of Medical Sciences, NTR University in Hyderabad, India. Subsequently, she qualified herself further by acquiring a Certification in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (COMT). She is also Certified in Clinical Dry-needling and, Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation. Ms. Mahin commenced her career as a Physiotherapist in India. In the initial years, she worked with Lakshmi Hospital and Research Center and later with Fernandez Hospital in Hyderabad, India. Subsequently, she relocated to the UAE where she worked as a Senior Physiotherapist with the Emirates Hospitals Group, Dubai, before joining Medcare.She is extremely committed to improving women’s health including ante-natal and post-natal care. Her expertise covers orthopaedic physiotherapy including managing inflammation, deformities, fractures, ligament injuries, pain and surgical management, cardiac rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, paediatric physiotherapy, pre-surgical and post-surgical management for total hip replacement, total knee replacement, soft injury repairing, cervical and spinal related surgeries, and post-traumatic stiffness. Ms. Mahin has successfully performed geriatric rehabilitation, myofascial release, dry cupping and clinical dry-needling, and practices manual therapy techniques as well as Kinesio taping and MTS Struzik therapy.
