Dr. Sahar Safaei

Dr. Sahar Safaei is a General Dentist in the Department of Dentistry at the Jumeirah branch of Medcare Medical Centre. She acquired her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Ajman University of Science and Technology’s Faculty of Dentistry in the UAE and a Fellowship in Laser Dentistry from the University of Genova in Italy. She is a member of the Iranian Medical Association and the Iranian General Dentist Association. After completing her internship at Ajman University, recognized by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Dr. Safaei spent a few years as a General and Cosmetic Dentist at private dental practices in Mashhad and Tehran in Iran. She then worked as a General Dental practitioner at Sadr Speciality Hospital in Tehran before relocating to UAE. She practised with Dentofaces Cosmetic Clinic in Dubai for a few years before joining Medcare.Dr. Safaei’s area of expertise covers Cosmetic Dentistry which includes laminates, veneers, Hollywood smile, scaling, polishing, root planning, teeth whitening, crown, bridges and implant prostheses. She is skilled in using laser technology in dentistry and treats gum pigmentation, jaw pain therapy, root canals, composite fillings and oral ulcers. She performs laser soft tissue surgeries, comprehensive oral examination and diagnosis, preventive dental care, pedodontics dentistry, oral radiology interpretation, gingivectomy and emergency dental treatments.
