Ronymol Benny

Dr. Ronymol Benny is a General Practitioner in the Department of General Medicine at Medcare Medical Centre. She obtained her MBBS from the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Pondicherry University in India. She holds a SCOPE certification from the World Obesity Federation for the management of obesity, and Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLF) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She has completed MRCP UK (part 1, 2) and MRCGP (Int) part 1.Dr. Benny commenced her career as a Resident Doctor, first in the Department of Plastic Surgery and then in the Department of Nephrology at the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences. Subsequently, she relocated to the UAE, to join as a General Practitioner at Khalida Medical Center, Dubai. She also worked as a General Practitioner at Dr. Sunny Medical Center, Sharjah before joining Medcare.Dr. Benny’s expertise covers the entire gamut of acute and chronic health conditions, prevention of Illness and health promotion. She is proficient in treating diabetes mellitus and its complications, hypertension and its complications, hyperlipidaemia, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, acute respiratory infections, bronchitis, pneumonia, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, abdominal pain, acute gastritis, gastroenteritis, acute otitis media and otitis externa, urinary tract infections, cystitis, uncomplicated renal calculi, constipation, anal fissures, haemorrhoids, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), migraine, headaches, abscess and cystic lesions of the skin, urticaria, tinea infections and dermatitis.
