Dr. Rita Tanios

Dr. Rita Tanios is a pathologist with a specialty focus in clinical pathology.She completed her medical degree at the Lebanese University, after which she did her clinical pathology training at the American University of Beirut. She then moved to Dubai, where she worked with a leading independent provider of medical laboratory testing services for 3 years. After which she spent two years earning her master's degree in Molecular Biology at the Lebanese American University, as well as another master's degree in Hospital Management from Ecole Supérieure des Affaires & Paris VII. In 2014, she moved to Abu Dhabi,i where she established a laboratory that was mainly focused on aiding in the management of women’s health issues.She has developed a special interest in laboratory accreditation, including both the CAP and ISO- 15189, which has aided her in starting several labs across the region.
