Dr. Rihab Mohamed Ahmed Elnour

Dr. Rihab Mohamed Ahmed Elnour is a Specialist in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Al Safa branch of Medcare Hospital. She completed her MBBS from the University of Khartoum in Sudan. She obtained a post-graduate Diabetes Diploma (PGDD) with Distinction from Cardiff University, an MSc in Diabetes also from Cardiff University and an MSc in Endocrinology from the UK.She has the distinction of being a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of London (MRCP), a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MRCPS) and a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (MRCP). Dr. Elnour is actively involved in various medical initiatives, conferences and seminars. She is a member of the DM Team at Al Safa Health Centre, the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Scientific Group, the Asthma Network DHA PHC, the Acute Care Management Group at Al Safa Health Centre, and she holds an award at the Academic Secretary's Office in the University of Khartoum Examination Board.Her illustrious career commenced with an internship at the Wad Medani Teaching Hospital in Sudan where she later became a Registrar. She then moved to Sharjah as Registrar of the Medical Department at Kuwaiti Hospital under MOH. Afterward, she served as a Registrar at both AE Kuwait Hospital and AE Dhaid Hospital, which are government healthcare facilities located in Sharjah. Dr. Elnour then moved to Dhaid Hospital, MOH as a Specialist Physician in the Medical Department for a couple of years. She spent almost a decade after that as a Specialist Registrar DHA, ably managing the diabetic clinic at Al Safa Heath Centre. Having established herself as an expert on diabetes, she served as a Specialist in Internal Medicine and Diabetologist first at Medcare Hospital, Jumeirah and then at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in Dubai.
