Dr. Pradeep Kumar

After completion of his MBBS and MS orthopaedics from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India, Dr. Pradeep Kumar joined Asoka Hospital, India, as a consultant in orthopaedics. He then went to Germany for a joint replacement and trauma fellowship at Schwenningen followed by the position of senior specialist orthopaedics, at Dubai hospital, DUBAI Health Authority. He was, also, senior consultant sports medicine and joint replacement surgery, at Aster MIMS CALICUT, India.Dr Kumar is an international affiliate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and a member of the Indian Arthroscopic Society. His core speciality revolves around knee surgery and sports medicine both for clinical expertise as well as services. In sports Injuries he is an expert at conservative and surgical management of ligaments sprains, muscle strains and joint Injuries including shoulder and knee, and total knee replacement. Among arthroscopic procedures he is proficient in ACL/PCL reconstruction, meniscal surgeries and rotator cuff repair. Other than these he has immense expertise with cartilage restoration procedures and limb realignment osteotomies around the knee. He also performs patella reconstructive procedures, Viscosupplementation, PRP injections and reconstructive surgery for recurrent shoulder dislocation.
