Dr. Pooja Puri

Dr. Pooja Puri brings extensive expertise and dedication to the field of Pediatric Pulmonology, with over 13 years of experience as a US board-certified Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist. Dr. Puri's completed her MBBS from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in Punjab, India, in 2001. She pursued further specialisation in Pediatrics, completing her residency at Metro Health Medical Center in Ohio, USA, from 2009 to 2012. Dr. Puri then undertook her Pediatric Pulmonology residency from 2012 to 2015 at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, also in Ohio, USA.As a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a Pediatric Pulmonology Certified Specialist, Dr. Puri is recognised for her proficiency and expertise in pediatric respiratory care. Her areas of expertise cover a wide range of pulmonary conditions affecting children, including pediatric asthma, interstitial lung disease, cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, pediatric aerodigestive disorders, pediatric bronchoscopy, and sleep disorders such as sleep apnea.In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Puri is actively involved in research and academic pursuits, contributing to advancements in pediatric respiratory medicine. She is a member of the American Thoracic Society.Dr. Puri's dedication to providing exceptional care to pediatric patients is further underscored by her certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
