"Dr. Pankaj Shrivastav is a pioneering figure in Reproductive Medicine with nearly 32 years of experience. Invited to Dubai by the Government of Dubai in 1991, he played a crucial role in establishing the UAE’s first Fertility Unit, the Dubai Gynaecology and Fertility Centre (DGFC), where he served as Deputy Director for 13 years. Under his leadership, the centre celebrated the birth of its first IVF babies in July 1992 and saw over 2,000 babies born during his tenure.Currently, Dr. Shrivastav leads Conceive – The Gynaecology & Fertility Hospital in Sharjah and Dubai, established in 2004. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of fertility treatments, continuing Dr. Shrivastav’s legacy of excellence in reproductive care.Dr. Shrivastav completed his medical studies at Christian Medical College, Vellore, India, before advancing his training in the UK. He became a Member of the Royal College and earned a Fellowship from The Royal College of London in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRCOG), specializing in fertility treatments.Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Shrivastav has developed innovative techniques in fertility medicine, including pioneering work in Ovarian Hyperstimulation and Surgical Retrieval of Sperm (PESA and TeSA)—methods now widely used worldwide. He has collaborated on research with Yale University, contributing to the book “Cosmopolitan Conceptions: IVF Sojourns in Global Dubai.” A respected leader in his field, he has conducted workshops, delivered international lectures, and contributed to numerous publications. Dr. Shrivastav is an active member of professional associations such as ESHRE and ASRM. His contributions have been recognized with the prestigious “Hind Rattan” Award from India"
