Dr Olusegun John Oluwole obtained Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Ilorin, in North Central Nigeria, in 2006. He subsequently trained in Internal Medicine at the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe, in North Eastern Nigeria from 2009 to 2012, and went on to complete sub-specialization in General Neurology from 2012 to 2015 at the apex teaching hospital in West Africa, University College Hospital Ibadan, Nigeria.From October 2016 to April 2017, he completed ‘Basic EEG in the Diagnosis Epilepsy Course’ offered by the International League Against Epilepsy for 6 months. And from October 2020 to April 2021, he completed ‘Advanced EEG in the Diagnosis of Epilepsy Course’ offered for 6 months. In June 2018, he underwent one-month observership in the Comprehensive Epilepsy Centre at The University of Munich Teaching Hospital (Ludwig Max-Millan University Hospital, Klinikum GrossHadern, Munchen), Germany. From October 2020 to May 2022, he completed an 18-month Clinical Master’s degree in Epilepsy at the Sfax University in Tunisia.From October 2019 to March 2020, he underwent formal 6-month proficiency training in Nerve Conductions and Electromyography (EMG) and got certified as an electromyographer by the American Academy of Clinical Electrodiagnosis (AACE). In addition, he completed 6-month clinical education on Nerve Conductions and Evoked Potentials from the School of Postgraduate Study of Aston University, UK between October 2020 and October 2021.Furthermore, he completed Child Neurology Master’s Degree from University of Tor Vergata in Rome, Italy from 2018 to 2020. And most recently, he completed 12-month Clinical Specialty Fellowship in Headache Medicine and earned Fellowship of the World Headache Society in May 2022.
