Dr Nikil is a UK board-certified Consultant in Pediatrics with a special interest in Pediatric Neurology.Before joining King’s, Dr Nikil worked as a Consultant Pediatrician and lead for Neurology at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital Brighton, UK, from 2015 to 2022. He was also the Pediatric lead for genomics at the NHS Southeast Genomic Medicine Service Alliance – a pioneering service tasked with mainstreaming genomic testing in day-to-day practice in South East England.Dr Nikil is highly experienced in all aspects of acute and chronic general pediatric conditions and common Neurological disorders like epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders and Neuro-disability. He completed his pediatric training and achieved MRCPCH from the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health and CCT in Pediatrics from the General Medical Council, UK. He obtained FRCPCH in 2021. He is a keen medical educator with a post-graduate certificate in medical education (PGCE) awarded by Warwick University, UK.
