Dr. Nighat Aftab

Dr. Nighat is a UK board-certified Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology with extensive clinical expertise and a strong commitment to teaching and humanitarian work. She has served as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sharjah University and Dubai Medical College and is an examiner for Dubai Medical College, MBRU, MRCPI, and MRCOG exams, contributing to the professional development of future healthcare providers.Dr. Nighat earned her MBBS from Sindh University, Pakistan, and completed her residency and MCPS in Obstetrics and Gynecology there. She holds MRCOG and FRCOG credentials from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK. Prior to this, she served for 30 years in hospitals in Dubai, where she chaired multiple committees, including the Morbidity & Mortality Committee, and acted as the focal contact between DHA and MOHAB.Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Nighat is actively involved in humanitarian efforts as the former president of the medical wing of the Pakistan Association Dubai. She has organized and led multiple voluntary medical camps and awareness campaigns and played a pivotal role in opening a non-profit medical center, reflecting her dedication to community health and service.
