Dr. Nesreen Abdelrahman

Dr. Nesreen Alaa Eldin, an expert radiologist with specialisation in endometriosis scanning, has done her MBBCh as well as MSc in Radio-Diagnosis from the Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. She has been a senior fellow at the Cairo University Foetal Medicine Unit (CAIFM), Cairo, Egypt and a specialist radiologist at Latifa Hospital, Dubai, UAE. She is an expert in paediatric radiology and all paediatric ultrasound techniques like transcranial ultrasound with all related approaches. She even helped in collecting cases of Joubert syndrome using ultrasound in the diagnosis before MRI, MCA Doppler assessment. She uses fluoroscopy techniques, highlighting ultrasound as a safe paediatric tool to replace radiation procedures and to maximize the sensitivity of ultrasound in detection before deciding to go further for sectional imaging. Some of these techniques are ultrasound guided hydrostatic reduction of intussusception instead of fluoroscopic guided one and detection of GER under ultrasound guidance Dr. Eldin performs obstetrics related scans like foetal anomaly scans, twin pregnancy evaluation and assessment of all the possible complication related such as twin to twin transfusion cases, detailed 1st trimester scans and assessment of NT as a tool of screening in patient with history of chromosomally affected off springs, finally performing foetal echocardiography to detect cardiac anomalies.
