Dr. Narges Pourheidari

Dr. Narges Pourheidari is a Specialist Dermatology at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her primary medical education (MBBS) from the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and then her MD, specialising in Dermatology from the Iran University Of Medical Sciences, both in Iran. She then studied towards her Diploma in Facial Anatomy Dissection and Live Injection course, at the Head and Neck Institute of Nice Sophia Antipolis University. She has a Board-certified Dermatology, Venereology and Aesthetic degree. She is a member of the Aesthetic Multi-speciality Society (AMS), the European Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV).Dr. Pourheidari commenced her career initially, as a Dermatologist at Jahad-E Daneshgahi in Iran, after which she worked as Specialist Dermatologist and Venereologist, Laser Specialist and Aesthetic Professional at private clinics. Subsequently, she worked at various hospitals and clinics in the UAE, as a Specialist in Dermatology. She has been associated with Emirates Hospital Clinic as a Specialist Dermatologist, Laser and Aesthetic Professional and also worked at Dr. Simin Medical Center, the Iranian Hospital and Medcare Medical Centre. During this time, also gained knowledge and expertise in laser skin treatment, curettage, cryosurgery, and electrocautery.With over a decade of experience in her field, Dr. Pourheidari is an expert in the treatment and management of a range of skin conditions, including hyperpigmentation, acne,skin lesions, alopecia, and hyperhidrosis. Since her consultant’s appointment, she has specialised in Aesthetic Dermatology and treats a wide range of skin conditions, with patients of varying nationalities. She diagnoses and treats various types skin disorders and skin cancers. She examines patients and recommends the required diagnostic tests and administers injections, punch & shave biopsies, curettage, electrocautery, and cryotherapy and excises skin lesions. She is proficient in the treatment of sexual transmitted disorders, scar mitigation using laser technology, skin rejuvenation procedures including filler and Botox injections and non-invasive skin rejuvenation with the latest techniques.Dr. Pourheidari believes in fitness, nutrition, longevity and enjoys travelling, Skiing, cycling and playing Tennis and Golf. She has a unique qualification of being an UK CAA private pilot trainee, flying Diamond DA40, Tecnam P2008, Piper Warrior and Piper Cherokee 140 planes. She speaks Arabic, English and Farsi.
