Dr. Nardeen Hanna

​Dr. Nardeen Todary Hanna is a distinguished Specialist in Rheumatology with over 15 years of experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and her Doctorate in Medicine (MD) in Rheumatology from the Faculty of Medicine at Mansoura University in Egypt. Additionally, she holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Rheumatology from the same institution. ​Dr. Hanna began her medical career as a Resident in the Rheumatology Department at Mansoura University Hospital in Egypt. She then advanced to Specialist roles in several reputable hospitals across Egypt and Dubai, gaining extensive experience in managing conditions affecting the bones, joints, muscles, and spine. Her areas of expertise include inflammatory joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and psoriatic arthritis, as well as autoimmune connective tissue diseases and crystal-induced arthritis like gout. ​In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Hanna is proficient in non-surgical management of musculoskeletal pain conditions, including neck and back pain, cervical and lumbar disc prolapse, sciatica, shoulder pain, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, and myofascial pain syndrome. She is skilled in performing procedures such as intra-articular injections for knee osteoarthritis, local trigger point injections for severe muscle spasms, and soft tissue injections for conditions like tendinitis and plantar fasciitis. ​Dr. Hanna is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Egyptian Society of Rheumatology, the Egyptian Society of Back Pain, and the Egyptian Society for Joint Diseases and Arthritis. She is fluent in both Arabic and English, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population. Currently, she practices at Medcare Women & Children Hospital in Dubai, where she continues to provide comprehensive care in rheumatology.
