Dr. Mustfa Magidoub Mabruk Karoud

Dr. Mustfa Karoud is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon with 31 years of professional experience. He received specialized training and extensive clinical exposure in orthopedic and trauma surgery at several highly accredited centers in Germany, where he also served as Director of Orthopedic, Arthroplasty, and Arthroscopic Surgery. Between 2019 and 2024, he held the position of Chief of Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery at the American Hospital Dubai, where he led the reconstruction and modernization of the orthopedic department. He directed the development of multiple orthopedic subspecialties, including arthroplasty and robotic-assisted knee surgery, sports injuries and arthroscopic surgery, pediatric orthopedics, trauma surgery, and reconstructive and endoscopic spine surgery. He performed the first corrective varus knee deformity surgery using the ROSA robotic-assisted total knee replacement system to implant a primary knee prosthesis - the first case in Dubai and the region.
