Dr. Mohan Rangaswamy is a highly experienced plastic surgeon with 28 years in plastic surgery. He holds a Consultant license in Dubai Health Authority and is also licensed in Dubai Healthcare City. He practices the art and science of plastic surgery in its comprehensive form, which means that he does both the Reconstructive and Cosmetic aspects as well as Hand Surgery. He is often called upon to solve difficult reconstructive problems in other specialties due to this wide repertoire of knowledge and experience; he a respected speaker and teacher. He topped the national selections in India at all levels of entry into basic medical graduation, postgraduate training and super-specialization in plastic surgery. He got trained at the most prestigious medical institutes in India and later obtained the fellowship of the Royal College in Glasgow, UK. He has also worked in kidney transplant and general surgery during this period. He received training in microvascular surgery as far back as 1987 and has maintained competence in this.He was on the team of Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital’s reconstructive surgeons between 1987-1990. He participated extensively in Head & Neck cancer reconstruction, breast reconstructions and limb sarcomas. Microvascular reconstructions were used successfully.
