Dr. Mohammed Elokl

Dr. Mohammed Abdallah Elokl is a Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery at Mirdif Medcare Specialty Centre. He completed his MBBS and MD in Orthopaedic Surgery from Ain Shams University, Egypt. Additionally, he completed a basic course in AO Trauma and holds a Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Injuries from the Arthroscopy & Sports Unit of the Orthopaedic Department at Assiut University, Egypt. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) of Edinburgh.As an accomplished Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in Arthroscopy, Sports Injuries, and Joint Replacements, Dr. Elokl worked for nearly two decades in Egypt before moving to the UAE. Initially, he served as an Orthopaedic Surgeon Specialist at the Egypt Air Hospital and at El Salaam Hospital. Later, he worked as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at El Galaa Hospital for the Armed Forces Officers' Families. Subsequently, he relocated to the UAE to join Prime Medical Centre as a Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery.Dr Elokl’s expertise encompasses the entire spectrum of arthroscopy and sports injury surgeries, trauma surgeries, arthroplasties, paediatric orthopaedics, and spine injuries. His repertoire of trauma and emergency orthopaedics includes open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of fractures (upper and lower limb), intramedullary nailing of long bones, external fixation for complex fractures and polytrauma cases and management of open fractures, debridement, and wound coverage. He is extremely proficient in treating patients who require primary total hip and knee replacement, hemiarthroplasty for hip fractures, knee arthroscopy (meniscectomy, meniscus repair, ACL reconstruction) and shoulder arthroscopy (rotator cuff repair, instability procedures). He treats paediatric patients, performing closed and open reduction of fractures, and conducts all tendon repairs, joint injections and minor procedures under local anaesthesia. He develops individual treatment plans for his patients, and through his compassionate care, he creates a good rapport with them. This helps with faster recovery.
