Dr. Mohamed Haseen Basha

Dr. Mohamed Haseen Basha is a Specialist in the Paediatrics Department of the Al Furjan West branch of Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his MBBS and MD from JJM Medical College, Davangere, India. He also acquired a BLS Certification from the American Heart Association and a Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification. He completed an “Instructor for Neonatal Resuscitation course” certified by the National Neonatology Forum (NNF) & Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), India. He is a member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP) and the National Neonatology Forum (NNF).Dr. Basha commenced his career with an internship at the Chigateri General Hospital, Davangere and then as a Resident in the Department of Paediatrics at the JJM Medical College. He served as an Assistant Professor and Specialist Paediatrician in the Department of Paediatrics, JJM Medical College and then in a similar position at the S.S.I.M.S.R.C, Davangere. He later became an Associate Professor and a Consultant Paediatrician at the same Research Centre before relocating to Riyadh. He served as an Assistant Professor and Specialist Paediatrician in Riyadh at the Almaarefa College of Medicine. In Dubai, he was a Specialist Paediatrician first at the Aster Clinic and then at the I-Care Clinic. Dr. Basha’s expertise covers the entire gamut of General Paediatrics and Neonatology including allergies, emergencies, infections and issues of Growth and Development. He has proficiently treated viral, bacterial and fungal infections, all types of respiratory infections, allergic asthma, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, atopic dermatitis and gastrointestinal problems. He regularly carries out well-baby clinics, vaccinations, lactational counselling, and neo-natal care and manages growth and nutrition disorders. He served as a Section Editor of the Journal of Paediatric Pulmonology and Critical Care.During his leisure hours, he enjoys playing cricket and reading. He speaks English, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Urdu.
