Dr. Mohamed Abou Koutah

Dr. Mohamed Abou Koutah is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Medcare Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital. He completed his MD from the University of Cologne in Germany and a German speciality programme (Facharzt) in Orthopaedics and Traumatology from Münster in Germany. He is certified by the Medical Association of Westphalia-Lippe, Münster, Germany. He has completed a Fellowship for Complex Orthopaedic Surgery in joint replacement and arthroscopy at the University Hospital of Bochum. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, a Diploma in Radiology Diagnostics in Orthopaedics from Germany and a Certificate of PRP training from Arthrex.With almost two decades of experience working in Germany and the UAE, Dr. Abou Koutah is an authorised instructor for special orthopaedic surgery training by the Medical Association of North Rhine in Dusseldorf, Germany. He started his career as a Resident in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Catholic Hospital of Essen, Germany and the Academic Teaching Hospital of the University of Duisburg-Essen. After this, he became a Resident and Specialist in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Marien Hospital Bottrop, Germany. Later, he joined the University Hospital of the Ruhr University of Bochum as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. After completing his Fellowship, he joined the Evangelic Hospital Mülheim, Germany, as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. Subsequently, he relocated to the UAE, where he joined Orthosports Medical Centre, Dubai as a Consultant and then became Head of the Department of Orthopaedics at Al Sharq Hospital, Fujairah. Before joining Medcare, he was a Consultant at NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah.
