Dr. Maroua Alsaffar

Dr. Maroua Al-Saffar is a General Practitioner in the Department of Dentistry at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Dundee in Scotland and started working as a General Dental Practitioner with Ian Robertson and Associates, also in Scotland.After doing a short stint at Montreal Dental Care in Leeds, UK, she relocated to the UAE. Here, she completed her Residency Programme at the University of Sharjah and then she took up a short assignment as a General Dental Practitioner at Manchester Medical Centre. Subsequently, she joined the Oriana Hospital Day Care Surgery, in a similar capacity. She worked here for almost a decade before moving to Medcare.Dr. Al-Saffar’s expertise encompasses scaling and polishing of teeth and RSI, fluoride application and prevention and fissure sealants, oral surgery including surgical extraction of third molars, endodontic procedures and retreatments, Invisalign and EU Aligners, prosthodontics including crown and bridge work and full mouth veneers, Paediatric Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry including veneers and whitening, Conservative Dentistry such as composite fillings and inlays/onlays, Sports Dentistry such as mouth guards and night guards.
