Dr. Maha Sultan

Dr. Maha Sultan is a Specialist in the Department of Dermatology at the Jumeirah branch of Medcare Medical Center. She obtained her basic medical education – an MBChB, followed by an MD and MSc in Dermatology and Venereology, all from the Al-Azhar University’s Faculty of Medicine for Girls in Egypt. She is a member of many national and international societies like IMCAS and EMS.With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Sultan is a much sought after specialist in the field of Dermatology today.Dr. Maha Sultan garnered invaluable knowledge while practicing in different countries like Egypt and the UAE. Her forte has always been Dermatology, Andrology, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs), Laser and Aesthetic Medicine. She worked at the Arya Clinic in Jumeirah and the American Hospital in Dubai. She was the Head of the Dermatology and Venereology Department at the Beverly Hills Medical Center and Dar Al Shifaa Hospital in Abu Dhabi. She served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Dermatology, Faculty of Medicine in Egypt, before joining Medcare.Dr. Sultan specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the skin, hair, scalp, and nails, and performing cosmetic procedures. She has successfully treated psoriasis, vitiligo, urticaria, eczema, sexually transmitted diseases, erectile dysfunction and all skin diseases. She is good at the biological therapy for psoriasis, urticaria and atopic dermatitis and does skin biopsy as required. She is proficient in aesthetic procedures including PRP and stem cell for treating conditions related to hair and face, hyperpigmentation and acne scars.
