Dr. Loiy Alkhatib

Dr. Loiy Alkhatib is a German- and UK-board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained sports medicine and upper-limb reconstruction specialist with over 13 years of experience practicing in Dubai. He earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed orthopedic and trauma surgery training in Germany, earning his Facharzt qualification and European Board diploma (EBOT). He further advanced his expertise through fellowships in orthopedic trauma and upper-extremity reconstruction at the University of Manitoba, Canada; a shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship at University College London Hospital; as well as sports medicine and trauma training in Canada and Scotland. He previously served as a consultant in Germany before becoming Head of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital, Dubai, where he successfully performs advanced arthroscopic procedures, ACL/PCL reconstruction, rotator cuff and labral repair, fracture management, joint replacements, minimally invasive spine therapies, and PRP injections. Dr. Alkhatib is also active in postgraduate surgical education through AO Trauma and Arthrex courses and is known for his compassionate, patient-focused care
