Dr. Lina Asker

Dr. Lina Asker is a General Dentist at the Al Khawaneej branch of Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Oral Surgery from Mansoura University, Egypt. She is a member of the Egyptian Dental Syndicate. Dr. Asker has practised at various hospitals in Egypt and the UAE during the course of her career. She commenced her career as a Dentist at Misr Specialized Hospital in Egypt, then worked at the Asker Orthodontic Centre and was an instructor in the Orthodontic Secrets course for postgraduates. After moving to Dubai, she worked with the Oud Almuteena Medical Center and was an Orthodontic consultant for MATT Orthodontics at AEEDC. Being a consummate professional with specialized knowledge and practical skills, Dr. Asker manages oral hygiene education and promotion, endodontic procedures, cosmetic procedures (bleaching, Hollywood smile, snap-on smile, gummy smile treatment), denture fitting and education for home care, restoration of carious teeth and broken fillings and paediatric dentistry. She has proficiently treated patients for scaling and root planing, fluoride and varnishes application, oral surgery, gum diseases, fixed and removable orthodontic procedures (Damon system, Invisalign, all types of growth modification appliances & fixed braces), crown and bridges treatment and taking and interpreting dental x-rays. She likes travelling, reading, shopping and swimming during her leisure time. She speaks Arabic and English.
