Dr. Kshitij Anand

Dr. Kshitij Anand is a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his MBBS from the Medical University in Pleven, Bulgaria and got the opportunity to complete a research exchange at Val d'Hebron Hospital, Barcelona. He completed his post-graduation (DNB) in Internal Medicine from Artemis Hospital, New Delhi, India which is amongst the few JCI-accredited hospitals in India. He is ECFMG certified (USA) and holds a certification in BLS and ACLS from DHA.During the nascency of his career, Dr. Anand worked as a Junior Resident at RML Hospital, Delhi, India and after completing his post-graduation, he worked as a Senior Resident at Fortis Hospital, Noida in the Internal Medicine Department. Subsequently, he relocated to the UAE and took up the role of an Internal Medicine Specialist at NMC Healthcare before joining Medcare.His special interests include managing infectious diseases and diabetology. Dr. Anand’s expertise covers the management of chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes mellitus and infectious diseases including complex medical conditions that require a multi-disciplinary approach. He proficiently treats hyperlipidaemia, hypertensive emergencies, pneumonia, asthma, COPD and sepsis, anaemia, ITP, UTI, pyelonephritis, acute pancreatitis, hepatitis and liver abscess. He also diagnoses rheumatological conditions.Whenever he can find the time, he enjoys travelling, photography, playing cricket and chess. He is fluent in English, Hindi and Bulgarian.
