Dr. Karan Kalra is a highly skilled and experienced European Board-Certified Orthodontist with over 14 years of experience in dentistry, more than 10 of which have been spent serving the community in Dubai. Dr. Karan is a passionate clinician who believes in constantly evolving with changing times and advancing technology to provide the best possible care to his patients. In addition to his impressive qualifications, Dr. Karan has received extensive training in TMJ Disorders and Orofacial Plan from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA, and completed his Fellowship in this field. He has also earned a Membership in Orthodontics from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons at Edinburgh, further highlighting his expertise and commitment to staying up to date with the latest advancements in orthodontic treatment. Dr. Karan completed his Masters in Orthodontics and Dento-facial Orthopaedics from the prestigious Government Dental College and Research Institute, India. He has won numerous awards in National and International conferences for his outstanding performance in paper presentations, scientific posters, and quiz competitions. As a certified Invisalign Platinum Provider, Dr. Karan is an active member of the Invisalign study group UAE. He regularly attends orthodontic workshops and conferences internationally to stay updated with the latest advances in orthodontics. To better equip himself for complex and complicated orthodontic cases, Dr. Karan trained in orthodontic biomechanics under the guidance of “The Father of Orthodontic Biomechanics – Late Dr. Charles Burstone, USA”. He is also certified in laser dentistry from the British Institute of Laser Dentistry. Dr. Karan’s expertise lies in Invisalign, metal, ceramic, and self-ligating (DAMON) braces, and he has a special interest in growth modulation therapy and skeletal anchorage for speedy orthodontics.
