Her expertise spans a wide range of areas including acute musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain management, child health, diabetes, hypertension, neurofunctional acupuncture, smoking cessation, and travel medicine. Dr. Coelho holds specialised post-graduations in Chronic Pain, Medical Acupuncture, and Travel Medicine. Her proficiency in Medical Acupuncture is endorsed by the Portuguese Medical Association, where she also serves as a Board Member of the Medical Association College of Competence in Medical Acupuncture. She has contributed significantly to the field, having collaborated for 8 years with a Chronic Pain Clinic in Portugal, focusing on Neurofunctional Acupuncture.A member of the Portuguese Medical Association since 2011, Dr. Coelho is actively involved in professional organisations.
