Meet our Consultant Anesthesiologist, Dr Jamshid Zafar, a Master of delicate balance between ensuring patients pain-free status and maintaining stable vital functions during surgical/medical procedures. With a wealth of experience and a commitment to precision, our consultant brings a reassuring touch to the operating room, ensuring each patient’s journey is as comfortable as possible. Dr Jamshid Zafar who hails from the Indian Capital, graduated in year 2000, completing his MD Anesthesiology in year 2006, from prestigious Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, India.After Masters, his professional journey started in 2006, working in the leading Cardiac Centre of India at that time, (Delhi’s Escorts Heart Institute and Research centre), followed by then working in Delhi Govt’s Coveted UCMS medical college, (GTB Hospital) in 2008. This diverse 3 years plus Indian experience early on gave a strong foundation to what has been an excellent career, for him so far. 2009 saw Dr Jamshid move and get employed in Dubai’s prestigious Rashid Hospital, a place where he worked n grew for next 14 long illustrious years.Since his early days here, his activity and involvement in numerous departmental projects stood out. A Departmental DHA approved Audit on Peripheral Nerve Blocks, An IV lines Audit, Departmental Dashboard formulation are just to name a few. Acquiring a US guided Regional anesthesia diploma from University of Montpellier (France) in 2014, and a DHA promotion to Senior specialist in 2017 was only a testament to his all round efforts at work.
