Ms. Hiba Habeeb

Hiba Habeeb is a DHA and DoH licensed clinical psychologist with over four year’s experience in the country. She holds an MSc in Clinical Psychology from UAE University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, English Literature, and Criminology from India.She has extensive experience in cognitive, behavioral, and personality assessments. She further possesses expertise working with multidisciplinary teams from Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital, Wellbeing Support Unit UAEU, Rashid Hospital, Euphoria Medical Center, and The Communication Clinic. Hiba Habeeb uses an eclectic approach focusing in cognitive behavior, behavior therapy, client-centered, interpersonal therapy and play therapy modalities, to meet the unique needs of her clients.She has diverse experience with children, adolescents, and adults, and is experienced in providing multidisciplinary evaluations with a team of speech, occupational, and ABA therapists. They develop holistic treatment plans, including rehabilitation, special education, early intervention, psychoeducation, and psychological support for families.Hiba Habeeb has also worked as a Research Assistant at UAE University, department of Clinical Psychology, which has enabled her to publish latest research on the topics of body appreciation, psychometric assessments, and third culture kids in international journals.Psychotherapeutic approaches, including Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused therapy, and Play Therapy, create a safe and supportive environment where children/adolescents and adults can freely express their thoughts, emotions, and concerns. These approaches utilize specialized techniques to help individuals develop healthy coping skills for managing stress, anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges. Techniques may involve learning relaxation, mindfulness, and cognitive restructuring.
