Dr Girish Juneja is a well-experienced Laparoscopic/Weight Loss Surgeon in Dubai & has a special interest in bariatric surgery.Dr. Girish is a Certified Surgeon of Excellence for Bariatric and Metabolic surgery by EAC-BS( European accreditation society for Bariatric surgery under IFSO( International Federation for the surgery of obesity and metabolic disorders).Dr. Girish Juneja is a surgeon of excellence for bariatric surgery (weight loss) with more than 30 years of experience in laparoscopic/ general surgery. He served as the Director of Bariatric Surgery at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai from 1995 to 2023. Previously, he held the position of Head of the Bariatric and Surgery Department at various hospitals across the UAE, including Mediclinic (Al Noor Hospital Abu Dhabi), Alia Hospital Abu Dhabi, IMH Hospital Dubai, and Novomed Centers in Dubai. Currently, he is practicing and providing consultations for his patients at Gargash Hospital and Emirates Jumeirah Hospital.He had his basic laparoscopic training from Ninewells Medical College, Dundee, Scotland & UK. He has a diploma in minimal surgery from Strasbourg, France. He is a Fellow of ACE Bariatric Surgical Center, Emmen, Netherlands. He regularly attends conferences and workshops in different countries to update his skills.
