Dr. Ghada Nasrat

Dr. Ghada Nasrat is a Specialist in Paediatrics at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBS from the King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah. She also did her Saudi Board Paediatric Speciality (SSC- Ped) and her Saudi Fellowship in Paediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism (SF- Ped- Endo) from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialities. She is a member of the American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP), the Paediatric Endocrine Society, the Saudi Paediatric Association and the Arab Society for Paediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes.Dr. Nusrat commenced her career as a Paediatric Resident and later as a Paediatric Specialist at the King Abdul Aziz University Hospital (KAAUH) Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Subsequently, she worked as a Paediatric Endocrinologist Fellow at King Abdul Aziz Medical City in Riyadh and as a Consultant Paediatrician at Feto Maternal Medical Center, Doha, Qatar, honing her skills and expertise in delivering high-quality care to young patients. After relocating to the UAE, she joined the American Hospital in Dubai as a Paediatric Specialist. With more than a decade of experience in general paediatrics, Dr. Nusrat is an expert in providing comprehensive care for children from infancy through adolescence. She manages acute cases of paediatrics all chronic cases, growth disorders, monitoring growth and addressing concerns of growth delay and short stature, childhood obesity, asthma, allergies, eczema constipation, and nocturnal enuresis. She proficiently conducts well-baby clinics, does screening for secondary causes or complications of obesity, provides guidance on healthy management and lifestyle modification, does routine health check-ups with vaccination and gives immunisation advice. Her special interest includes endocrinology and evaluating and managing delayed and early puberty.
