Dr. Gagan Sabharwal

Dr. Gagan Sabharwal completed his post-graduation in oral and maxillofacial surgery from A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore Karnataka in 2008, followed by a fellowship in Cleft Lip and Palate surgery from DCKH (Germany) centres in India. He is a fellow of the prestigious International College of Dentistry and holds a Fellowship in dental implantology from Genova University, Italy. Residency in TM joint arthroscopy and joint replacement surgery from Maryland university. Dr. Sabharwal received his head and neck cancer training from Tata Memorial, Mumbai and Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum, India .He was an observer in the Dept. of Plastic surgery, Texas children’s hospital, Houston in June 2017. He has also trained in arthroscopic and open temporomandibular joint surgery from Vienna, Austria.An internationally credentialed Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with Operation Smile Inc. He is a volunteer surgeon for two non-profit organisations from the United States (Alliance for Smile and Rotaplast Int.) for the last 10 years. He travels extensively worldwide to provide free reconstructive surgery to the underprivileged children. He was instrumental in setting up the comprehensive cleft care centre at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgram, India, in collaboration with Operation Smile in 2015.
