Dr. Fawaz Almajali

Dr. Fawaz Al-Majali is an extremely skilled and experienced Consultant in the Department of Dentistry at Medcare Hospital, Sharjah. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Tehran University in Iran and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the School of Medicine, University of Zurich in Switzerland. He also has a Diploma in Head & Neck Surgery from the Tokyo National Cancer Centre in Japan. Dr. Fawaz has the distinction of holding a Fellowship in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery from the University Hospital of Zurich, Switzerland (OMFS) and another one in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery with Oral Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (FFDRCSI). He is a member of the European Association of Cranio-Facial Surgery (EACMFS).With more than three decades of experience in the field of diagnosis and surgical treatment of Oral Maxillofacial conditions and dental implants, Dr.Fawaz has worked both in Jordan and the UAE. He imparted his invaluable teaching experience to students at the Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan and the Ajman University of Science and Technology in the UAE. He has been instrumental in training fresh graduate dentists and has held several prestigious posts in Medical Committees, Federal and State Examinations, Re-evaluation and Dental Malpractice Investigation Committees at both MOH and DHA. He worked at the Al Qassimi Hospital as well as the Al Baraha Hospital as the Dental Head of the Department and Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon.Dr. Fawaz’s expertise covers dental implants using German and Swiss Systems, dentoalveolar surgery and removal of impacted wisdom teeth,treatment of odontogenic tumours and cysts in the oral maxillo facial area, surgical treatment of maxillofacial trauma and bone fractures, oral drainage of infected abscess and temporal mandibular joint diseases. He does both resection and post-operative reconstruction. He is also proficient in corrective jaw orthopaedic surgery which includes bone augmentation and soft tissue grafts and Botox, fillers, laser treatment and other cosmetic surgery.
