Dr. Ehab Elrayes

Dr. El Rayes is a highly accomplished Ophthalmologist with extensive education and training in his field. His medical degree with honors from Ein Shams University and completion of his Ophthalmology training and residency at Cairo University Hospital demonstrate his dedication and commitment to the study of ophthalmology. His pursuit of higher education continued with a master’s degree in Ophthalmology from Cairo University, followed by a vitreoretinal fellowship at Associated Retinal Consultants in Royal Oak, Michigan, in 1993.Dr. El Rayes also engaged in research during his fellowship, spending a year at the Research Eye Institute, Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan, in 1994. This research experience likely enhanced his knowledge and expertise in his field, contributing to his Ph.D. degree which he received in 1997.As the current Professor and chairman of the department of Ophthalmology at the Institute of Ophthalmology in Cairo, Dr. El Rayes undoubtedly brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role.
