Dr. Duaa Abdulmohsen Mohamed is a Specialist Dermatologist in the Department of Dermatology and Aesthetics at Medcare Hospital Al Safa & Medcare Women & Children Hospital.She completed her MBBCh from the Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) in Cairo, Egypt. She is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Venereologist from the Arab Board of Health Specialties in Dermatology and Venereology. She also holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Dermatology from Cardiff University (UK) and another in Cosmetic Medicine from the University Of South Wales (UK).She believes in keeping abreast of the latest procedures and techniques in her field. She has done an Advanced Threads Diploma and an Advanced Filler Diploma from the American Association for Continuous Education. She is a member of the International Academy of Aesthetics, the Bahrain Dermatology Association and the Emirates Dermatology Society.Dr. Mohamed commenced her career as a Resident Doctor with the Bahrain Defence Force Hospital in Bahrain, then the University Hospital of Wales, UK followed by a long spell as a Dermatology Resident in the Bahrain Government Hospitals under the Ministry of Health in Bahrain.Having acquired rich experience in Dermatology and Cosmetics, she joined Royal Bahrain Hospital and KIMS Healthcare Management Ltd as a Specialist Dermatologist. During this time, she also worked part-time at the Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain as a Tutor as well as at the Karisma Medical Center in Bahrain.Subsequently, she moved to the UAE, where she joined Quttainah Specialized Hospital and then American Hospital Dubai as a Specialist Dermatologist.Dr.Duaah Mohamed diagnoses and treats conditions that affect the hair, skin, and nails. She is proficient in treating acne, acne scars, excess sweating and hyperhidrosis, hair diseases, hair loss, hyperpigmentation, skin pigment disorders, skin allergies, diseases and infections, nail diseases and removal of skin and genital warts.She uses a variety of cosmetic procedures like face fillers, body fillers for the neck, hands and buttocks, skin boosters, Sculptra (PLLA), Radiesse (calcium filler), Mesotherapy and Exosomes for skin and hair.
