He served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the prestigious Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (SRMC), Chennai. Later, he was a Consultant Psychiatrist at IMHANS, Kashmir, where he was actively involved in clinical practice and postgraduate training.
