Dr. Tasneem Mohamad Nour Abu El Fuol is a Specialist in General and Laparoscopic surgery at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. She is a Board-certified General Surgeon from the Jordanian Board of Surgery and has a Bachelor's Degree in General Surgery and Medicine (MD) from the Jordan University of Science and Technology. She has completed a Certification in Basic Surgical Skills (BSS) from the Royal Medical Services, a Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the Ministry of Health and a Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) also from the Ministry of Health.She is an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (MRCSI).Dr. Abu El Fuol commenced her career as an internship doctor at the Ministry of Health Hospitals (Princess Basma Hospital) and then became a General Surgery Resident at the Jordanian Royal Medical Services. Here, she performed surgeries and gained invaluable experience by assisting Senior Consultants in various open and laparoscopic surgical interventions. In Jordan, she worked as a General Surgery Specialist at the Jordanian Ministry of Health and the Rosary Sisters Hospital. Subsequently, she moved to the UAE to join Burjeel Specialty Hospital. She also worked with the Aster Hospital as a Specialist Surgeon.As a Specialist General and Laparoscopic Surgeon, Dr. Abu El Fuol has been responsible for the care of patients attending General Surgery OP, IP and Emergency Department, and has performed a variety of surgeries including the abdomen, gallbladder, appendix and all types of hernia cases, splenectomies, duodenal ulcer perforation, stabbing injuries and exploratory laparotomy, breast oncology surgeries, perianal surgeries like haemorrhoids, fistulas, and fissures. She uses the latest techniques such as Laser, THD, Stapler, Obsidian Surgeries, sphinkeeper, etc. She performs varicose vein surgeries with open or laser EVLA techniques and does minor and outpatient surgical procedures such as cyst excision, breast mass biopsy and suprapubic cystectomy. She has developed extensive expertise in a range of surgical procedures, including biliary (gallbladder) surgery, bariatric surgery, thyroid surgery, Central Venous Line Placement for chemotherapy oncology cases, Diagnostic Anal Manometry, rectal sensation, and Trans-anal Ultrasound for Obstetric Anal Sphincter Injuries (OASIS), pilonidal sinuses and pilonidal cysts treatment (laser and open techniques) and skin and soft tissue lesions.She speaks English and Arabic.
