Dr. Samar Elaraby Mohamed Deif

Dr. Samar Deif is a Specialist in Radiology at the Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBCh from Mansoura University in Egypt. She has done a Specialisation in Radiodiagnosis from the Egyptian Board as well as a Fellowship in Radiodiagnosis. She is a member of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate.Dr. Deif started her career in Egypt, working at the Mansoura University Hospital and then at various hospitals affiliated with the Egypt Ministry of Health. After moving to the UAE, she worked as a Specialist in Radiology at Sharjah Corniche Medical Centre. She has spent more than a decade, specialising in women's imaging studies such as gynaecological imaging, transvaginal study, follicular study, obstetric imaging, foetal anomaly scan, breast ultrasound, mammography and hysterosalpingography (HSG).As an expert radiologist, Dr. Deif interprets imaging scans and makes recommendations based on diagnosis. She is proficient in conducting abdominal, pelvic and gynaecological ultrasound. She performs obstetric ultrasound that includes early pregnancy scans, nuchal translucency (NT) scans, 3D and 4D ultrasounds, foetal growth scans and foetal Doppler. She is skilled in small parts and soft tissue ultrasound, musculoskeletal ultrasound, Doppler study of the peripheral, arterial and venous systems and carotid. She also does general X-rays, multi-slice CT imaging and MRI Imaging.She is fluent in Arabic and English.
