A: Dr Olena Garmish is a Ukrainian-trained Specialist Rheumatologist with more than 23 years of clinical and scientific experience in rheumatology and related specialisations. Before joining King‘s, she worked as a rheumatologist and senior research associate at the National Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Rheumatological Centre. Additionally, Dr Garmish has been pivotal in her roles as a member of the rheumatological steering committee at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Rheumatology Association, and a member of the Editorial boards of the Ukrainian Journal of Rheumatology. Dr Garmish received her medical degree (MD) from Dnipropetrovs’ka Deržavna Medicna Akademija, Ukraine, and specialised in Rheumatology at the Federal State Budgetary Institution in Moscow, Russia.
