I was working as a resident on Department for plastic and reconstructive surgery and Breast surgery at University Hospital Centre Zagreb from 2012 till 2018. This is the largest hospital in Croatia. Surgery Clinic has around 150 beds and 22 of them are in Plastic surgery Department. We had also several beds on Department for One-day surgery. I have worked in emergency department and had on-call duties.My activities at the Central Emergency department include mainly surgical emergencies, accidents and pediatric trauma from the most simple cases to the most complex ones; also, I posse skills and knowledge from other specialty areas, especially internal medicine, urology and intensive medicine. My hospital is also official Polytrauma centre and I am familiar with initial treatment and further medical care of polytrauma patients.
