Dr. Miral Abumoeilak

Dr. Miral Abumoeilak is a Specialist in Endocrinology at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Faculty of Medicine, Al Quds University, Palestine and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), UK. She further completed an online PG Diploma in Diabetes from the University of Leicester and BMJ, UK. She holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Diabetes and Endocrinology and GIM from the Health Education England (HEE) and JRCPTB, UK.Dr. Abumoeilak’s career spans internal medicine and endocrinology, with training and credentials from institutions in Jerusalem, London, and Manchester. Initially, she worked at Al Qassimi Hospital under the Ministry of Health, UAE. After a short stint teaching at the Dubai Medical College for Girls, Dubai, she worked as an Endocrinologist at the Sharjah Kuwaiti Hospital and the Rashid Hospital. She completed her Dubai Residency Training Programme before moving to the UK. She spent nearly a decade in the UK, working at the Royal Blackburn Hospital (East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust), Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and at the Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. Subsequently, she moved back to the UAE and joined the United Medical Centre, Dubai, as a Specialist Endocrinologist.Dr. Abumoeilak’s expertise includes the treatment of different types of diabetes mellitus, gestational diabetes, diabetes insipidus, hypopituitarism, adrenal insufficiency, Addison's disease, hyperprolactinemia, PCOS, obesity, hypertension diagnosed below the age of 40 years, all thyroid disorders, hyperparathyroidism and vitamin D deficiency. She stays up-to-date with all the latest advancements in her field, which is reflected in her in-depth clinical expertise and strong commitment to patient care.
