He was a Consultant at the renowned Imperial College Hospitals NHS Trust, as well as West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust and The Wellington Hospital. Among his senior leadership roles, he served as Head of Cardiology and Director of the Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.
Graduating in Medicine from the University of Cambridge, he undertook general medical and then specialist training in Cardiology at some of the most respected medical institutions in the UK: Addenbrooke’s and Papworth Hospitals in Cambridge and St George’s, St Mary’s and Hammersmith Hospitals in London. He gained broad experience in all aspects of Cardiology and particularly in Interventional Cardiology. He is an expert in the treatment of coronary artery disease using minimally invasive techniques.
Dr Khan’s contributions extend beyond clinical excellence. He has mentored a generation of resident doctors, earning recognition as the best cardiology trainer in his hospital.
