Dr. Maha El-Shalakani is a senior specialist radiologist with over a decade of experience and a PhD in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology from Ain Shams University. She specializes in breast and female imaging, with extensive expertise in mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and gynecological ultrasound, including transvaginal, transabdominal, and obstetric studies. She is also skilled in ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies and fluid drainage.In addition to her subspecialty focus, Dr. Maha has broad experience across all major radiology fields. She has reported a large volume of CT, MRI, and PET/CT studies covering neurological, thoracic, abdominal, and musculoskeletal systems. Her expertise also includes Doppler and general ultrasound applications across breast, pelvic-abdominal, scrotal,thyroid, neck, vascular, and obstetric imaging.
