Dr. Hadiel Azzam Kaiyasah

Dr. Hadiel Azzam Kaiyasah is a Consultant General Surgeon and one of the best female proctologists in Dubai at Medcare hospital Al Safa and Medcare Women & Children Hospital. She completed her MBBS from the Dubai Medical College, UAE with an Arab Board of General Surgery qualification. Seeking further specialization, Dr. Kaiyasah pursued sub-specialization training at the coloproctology unit of the University Hospital of Geneva. Her quest for excellence led her to obtain the European Board qualification in Coloproctology from Munich, Germany. She completed fellowship in advanced proctology and pelvic floor surgery at the Royal London Hospital, London, UK and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MRCS).Dr. Kaiyasah’s journey towards surgical excellence began with her residency program at Rashid Hospital where she spent more than a decade. She played a pivotal role in the establishment and growth of the Coloproctology Unit, both clinically and academically. In addition to her clinical practice, she is actively involved in medical education and research. Her appointment as an Assistant Professor at both Mohammed Bin Rashid University Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) and Dubai Medical College underscores her commitment to nurturing the next generation of medical professionals. Through her mentorship and teaching, she shares her wealth of knowledge and experience, inspiring future surgeons to strive for excellence in patient care and surgical innovation.She is a highly experienced and skilled surgeon with specialization in proctology, pelvic floor surgery and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. With years of dedicated practice and training, Dr. Kaiyasah has gained expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions affecting the colon, rectum, anus, and the pelvic floor. She has successfully treated haemorrhoids, fistulae (complex, recurrent), pilonidal sinus, pruritus ani, anorectal and pelvic floor diseases. She has proficiently treated patients with rectal prolapse, rectocele, fecal incontinence, hernia, skin and soft tissue lumps and bumps and constipation. She performs colorectal cancer screening, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and appendicectomy.Through meticulous surgical techniques and a comprehensive understanding of both the anatomy and physiology of these areas, Dr. Kaiyasah offers patients personalized and effective treatment options.
