Dr. Bahaa Eldin Ammar

Dr. Bahaa Eldin Ammar is a Specialist in Gastroenterology at the Dr. Saeed Al Shaikh Gastro and Obesity Centre branch of Medcare Medical Centre. After completing his basic medical education, he acquired an MD and a Master's in Internal Medicine from Tishreen University, Syria. He has also done a Specialization in Gastroenterology from the Syrian Board.Dr. Ammar has spent nearly a decade at the Lattakia National Hospital in Syria as a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. Initially, he joined the Martyr Major General Hamza Nofal National Hospital under the Ministry of Health in Syria. He dealt with inpatients and outpatients while working in the Endoscopy Unit. Later he was assigned to work at the Liver Diseases Center in the same hospital in addition to existing work. Subsequently, he also worked for the Committee of Chronic Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. Treating hepatic diseases as well as other liver diseases, gave him an excellent opportunity to use most biologic drugs used for IBD diseases.
