Dr. Albert Alahmar

Dr. Albert Alahmar is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Head of the Structural Heart Program at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital in Dubai Healthcare City. He completed cardiology intervention training in the UK (CCST) in 2011 and holds a Diploma in Cardiology with honours from Damascus University. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and contributed chapters to Oxford medical textbooks, and is a member of both the European Cardiac Society and the British Cardiac Interventional Society. Dr. Alahmar specializes in clinical, non-invasive, and interventional cardiology, including coronary angiography, stenting, balloon dilation of heart valves, pericardial aspiration, and complex procedures such as TAVI, PFO closure, chronic total occlusion interventions, and atherectomy.
